SYNOPSIS
A tale of the unwavering leadership of a visionary entrepreneur cum philanthropist turned patriot in British Malaya who ignited a movement of resistance, uniting a diaspora with an unbreakable spirit in the face of tyranny during the Sino-Japanese War.

 

GENERAL AUDITION INFORMATION

CASTING CALL
- 10 males (8 Chinese Malaysians & 2 Caucasian Malaysians)

- 2 females (Chinese Malaysians)

 

REQUIREMENT

- Able to act, sing and dance

- Age between 20s - 50s

- Proficient in Mandarin for Chinese candidate

- Proficient in English for Caucasian candidate

Preparation:

- A one-minute monologue.
   Mandarin for Chinese candidate & English for Caucasian candidate

- Two original songs from the musical:

   > Song 1 "Enough is Enough" for Chinese candidate

   > Song 2 "Break the Chains" for Chinese candidate

   > Song 3 "The Campaign" for Caucasian candidate and one additional song to be chosen from song 1 or 2
